Low Alloy Castings

Low alloy steel castings are used for wear parts that require a balance of strength, toughness, and controlled hardness. Unlike manganese steel, low alloy castings do not rely on heavy impact to work-harden, making them a good option for applications with sliding abrasion, moderate impact, and more predictable wear conditions.

Low alloy castings can be heat treated to achieve different hardness levels depending on the application. This makes them suitable for parts where dimensional stability, wear resistance, and consistent performance are important.

Eastwell Engineering can supply low alloy castings from existing drawings, samples, or reverse-engineered parts.
